Artificial Lift Services-Operations Engineer

Purpose of the job:

To manage a team responsible for all technical aspects related to the application of Artificial lift systems  on behalf of the WE group.

Organization

A “ one stop-shop “  Well Engineering Asset (TWM) which consists of Exploration Drilling (TWX), Development Drilling (TWD), Well Services (TWS) and their support teams.

The TWS Group provides technical support services related to Well Maintenance to all Production Flow Asset Teams  and consists of the following sections:  Hoist operations, Wellhead  Maintenance, Wireline & Stimulation and Artificial Lift.

The Artificial Lift team is responsible for maintenance & performance of ESP, Beam Pumps, PCP systems.

Ø       Quality Control of down hole and surface Equipment Design and Selection of all Artificial lift systems within  ESP, BP, PCP, and GL. This includes quality check of the Design Input Data interfacing with the PFATs.  Design review of Surface and Downhole Equipment interfacing with Contractors and Suppliers .

Ø       Support Artificial lift performance operation, monitoring, and optimization.

Ø       Responsibility for Root Cause Analysis for the artificial lift system. Ensure findings are fed back into design for artificial life cycle improvement.

Experience/Qualifications Needed

The incumbent  should preferably  be a  Graduate Engineer. He must have a  sound specialist knowledge  in ESP, BP, PCP,  Pump Systems and Gas Lift Technology & Applications,  with at least 12 years relevant experience in the E&P industry, and with  good  Sub Surface operation background.

Solid Team working capabilities are important.
