Production Geologist

Reservoir Management

· Ensure integration of seismic and well data on a field wide basis. Construct and/or maintain geological models and in conjunction with other PE disciplines numerical models for reservoir simulation.

· Identify infill and PE appraisal opportunities.

· Prepare contributions to the annual Programme documents.

· Identify opportunities for enhancing the application of Information Technology and Data Management to meet the operational and PE planning requirements.

· Identify and co-ordinate geological research projects, which could enhance oil recovery.

· Contribute to well proposals and well evaluations.

· Optimise data gathering. Ensure effective reservoir data management.

· Liaise with operations to ensure that latest ideas are absorbed into operations planning.

Studies

· Undertake geological studies to high technical standards and incorporate relevant aspects of other disciplines.

· Undertake integrated reservoir studies to define future development opportunities and reserves potential. This will require working in an integrated discipline team using the latest static-reservoir modelling technology.

· Participate in the formulation of field development plans and reserves submissions to the Ministry of Oil and Gas. · Prepare comprehensive documentation and presentations Providing on line technical coaching to individuals ranging from hands on technical support to (when requested) peer challenge of individual staff work away from the line subordinate environment.
