Well Services Engineer-Operations

Purpose of the Job

Program, liaise with PFAT and third parties and co-ordinate the execution of well services activities of the well pulling hoist(s) under his control in line with Operational, Health, Safety and Environmental standards and in accordance with customer requirements.

Experience/Qualifications

A professional graduate well engineer in possession of a degree or equivalent qualification (HTS/HND) in a relevant engineering discipline. A minimum of 5 years experience in Well Services operations, including 2 years at the hoist wellsite in a supervisory role and be in possession of a valid IWCF well control qualification. The incumbent shall possess a working knowledge of the well services processes from initial proposal to hoist release.

Ø Maintain the technical integrity of wells during the hoist operational phase in line with Company Procedures and Policies.

Ø Continuously strive to improve the performance of well pulling hoist, contractor and service company resources under his control.

Ø Visit well pulling hoists at least once per month. Assist in the investigation of all incidents for all well pulling hoist and service contractors on his Hoist(s).
